FAQ

  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    Our dial up and hosting service is on a month to month basis. There are no contracts to sign.  Our wireless DSL does require a one year contract.
  • Does 56K dial up mean I will connect at 56?
    Connection speeds are based on several different factors such as phone line quality and modem capability although our service still have the ability to connect at 56K.
  • Do I have to have a Credit Card?
    NetBurner does require you pay your first month of service up front but we do not require it be with credit card.  There are several different methods of payment we accept.  Over the phone we accept credit card or virtual check.  You can also stop by our office or mail a payment to us.  But we must receive payment before the account activates.
  • Do I need any additional software before I can connect?
    No, all the components you need to connect are install in all versions of Windows 98 and higher.  You can start surfing the net right after you sign up.
  • Does your service support v.92 modems?
    Although our service does not support v.92 functions such as modem on hold they still have the ability to connect.
  • Do you have technical support if I have problems?
    Yes, technical support is available Monday-Friday 9am to 10pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm.
  • Do you have local service?
    We do have local numbers for most areas in Kentucky and West Virginia but you should check our access number list to see if you county or city is listed. You should also check with your local telephone company if you are unsure if the number is local or not.
